Natural fabric protector: what exactly is it made of

Our eco friendly fabric protector is PFAS free. It is made with pure silicon dioxide, an inert substance that surrounds us in nature as sand or quartz; the most abundant family of materials on Earth.

This natural substance is already in use in many products around us, like glass, concrete, cosmetics, food and even the water we drink. The recent advancements in nanotechnology have allowed to alter silicon dioxide into its nanoparticle form (meaning each particle size is as small as 1 billionth of a metre), creating such a thin, malleable layer that it could be used as an effective protection barrier on different surfaces.
